Plas Pou Ede (A Place for Help)


Is a Resource center and community service provider for our Haitian and immigrant citizens The Career Center has (9) computer workstations, and other support services to provide the help these new entrants need to acclimate themselves within the community. Services that are provided are: Community Health awareness, educational and tutoring, employment assistance, work readiness training, immigration assistance, Arts and Cultural awareness activities, Housing and legal referral. The Center can be used for Homework and employment searches. Establishing a training facility will help the clients to gain the required skills and make them more competitive in the workforce.

The Career Pathway for Refugees program


The Career Pathway for Refugees program was established to provide Business and employment opportunities for the refugee community. Participants receive comprehensive services including: assessment, case management, basic skills development, job placement, vocational training, and a host of other supportive and retention services. The goal of the CCL Career Pathway Program is to prepare low-income new entrant adults for jobs with career advancement potential by supporting academic and workforce partnerships that align literacy, translation services, GED, occupational training, support services, career coaching, and other resources that align with the needs of employers. CCLF will provide the clients who have gone through training with assistance in preparing their resumes, interview preparation and proper dress protocol for an interview.

The Youth Program


CCLF offers diversionary programs to keep youth engaged in the community and out of criminal activities. In the Afterschool program Homework assistance is provided, snacks and other activities.





Music production


Music production - Youth create songs and learn the basics of music production.

It’s only the News - The youth create a weekly news show that they produce and present on Radio Galaxy.
